5% of Store Proceeds to Benefit Waterkeepers Chesapeake and Fair Farms
Get your reusable totes ready! MOM’s Organic Market is opening its Gaithersburg location this Friday, June 1st, and five percent of store proceeds from the opening weekend will generously benefit Waterkeepers Chesapeake, Fair Farms’ convening organization.
MOM’s Organic Market isn’t your average grocery store. The rapidly expanding business boasts that its purpose is to protect and restore the environment. This commitment goes beyond their store shelves, which are filled with organic and responsibly-sourced fare you can feel good about buying. MOM’s is also committed to reducing its carbon footprint and supporting green energy, getting their staff out in the field to clean up local streams and visit nearby sustainable farms, cutting the use of plastic in their products, and offering robust recycling options for customers.
MOM’s is also a critical partner and supporter of Fair Farms’ work and countless other local non-profit organizations. They donate hundreds of thousands of dollars a year to mission-based organizations and use their voice to support policies to protect our environment.
Please support Waterkeepers Chesapeake, Fair Farms, and MOM’s this weekend at the brand-new Gaithersburg location June 1st-3rd!
