Eastern Shore Harvest Directory Features Fair Farms Partners

With an uptick in consumer interest in buying locally produced food, consumers are often looking for places that source and sell local product. If you don’t have the time to do some sifting and researching yourself, you may feel like you don’t even know where to begin. Lucky for us, the Eastern Shore Harvest Directory has just made this quest so much easier.

The Harvest Directory started in 2012 and uses Geographic Information System (GIS) software. GIS is a mapping system that organizes and presents spatial and geographic data. Essentially, they pull together all of this information to create a map which connect consumers, like you, to places that sell direct to consumer. The map features nurseries, restaurants, bakeries, and even some Fair Farms farmers like Calvert Farm and Black Bottom Farms.

Keep an eye out for the recently-added “Fair Farms partner” label that features all of our partner farmers, restaurants, businesses, etc. in the area. If you are a Fair Farms partner and you’d like to register for the Harvest Directory, you can do that here.

Don’t forget! We’re always looking for folks that are interested in supporting the Fair Farms mission. To join our list of committed, forward-thinking partners, please contact us by email.
